Journal entry 007 - 5/17/15 - The Times I've Had.
1 Boat racing. The boat races were a science project in which there were about 10 teams who each were to build a cardboard boat. We had about a month to build these until the day which we would put them in the Mater Dei pool and have one of our team members ride in it. My team was James, Grace, Alejandro, and Paul. Our boat was pretty bad, but it wasn't the worst. I think that was the last week Ashton was at school. I didn't really know him, but he seemed like a good kid. I kinda miss him. I remember how Tyler had an emergency life boat, so when his boat was sinking, he threw a small box into the pool and hopped in it. But, alas, even Tyler was too big to fit in that box. I think only 3 boats made it out of the pool in one piece. Jeancarlo's sunk immediately. I don't know if it was worth getting to school 30 minuted earlier and carrying the boats to the pool half asleep for, but I think I would do it again if I had the chance.

A movie about a guy who eats a plant no one can identify and starts slowly shrinking. While trying to figure out how to return to normal size, he has to adapt to nature, from the treetops to under the grass.

The clay artifact thing was frustrating, but fun. For the first few minutes, I had no idea what to make. Then I got the idea of a cannon. It was hard, trying to get the pieces to stick together, even with the water. It was a bit messy, too, but now nearly as bad as I thought it would be. And the result was a small, poorly made clay cannon.
