Journal Entry 002 - 10/20/2014

Stargirl

I finished reading the book!!! As I was reading this book I found myself getting sucked into it, every word, every page, every chapter, I even noticed the little tiny mistakes but I didn't care and I just couldn't stop reading. I was so emotional, I cried, I got mad, I laughed, I got anxious, and at some point in the book I tried stopping myself from reading the rest of it, but I just couldn't see myself doing that. This book is just so AMAZING, I LOVE feeling like if I AM living this book, I LOVE feeling sad, mad, happy, and anxious. I just LOVE reading it out loud and feeling the same way the character is feeling. This book (for me) is just so relatable, and I LOVE how this book makes me relive those moments when I was a little bit like Hillary Kimble, when I was a little bit like Stargirl, even when I was a little bit like Leo just thinking, "Wow, this person really stands out, and I like that about them". So many questions, answers, and comments ran through my mind when I was reading this book. This is a book that just makes you want to read it over and over and over again, and I LOVE that!!!  Not to mention that there is a movie, a second book and a second movie!!!

Journal Entry 003 - 10/23/2014
